Registered clinical psychologist Ms. Chan Hoi Ching, Bianca provided insights on what stress is and explored the sources of stress for both parents and students. She emphasized that optimal stress can actually motivate us to achieve our learning and work goals, improving our efficiency and performance, helping everyone realize that "stress isn't the problem". Bianca also shared some simple and practical methods for coping with stress and led everyone in the 3-Minute Breathing Space Exercise. The session was highly engaging, allowing participants not only to learn how to manage stress but also to experience moments of calm.

Coffee Workshop: Practicing Mindfulness and Positive Communication

Under the guidance of Barista Browny, parents and students enjoyed the art of hand-brewed coffee together. Participants were invited to try the "Five Senses Exercise," focusing on the visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory and gustatory experiences during the coffee-making process. By integrating mindfulness elements, they are truly learning by doing. Browny also provided hands-on instruction in latte art, and everyone created their unique latte designs through parent-child interaction. The warm atmosphere was further enriched by participants generously sharing their thoughts and compliments on each other's creations.

This workshop not only provided participants with a relaxing break after the school term, allowing them to enjoy the pleasures of coffee brewing but also brought parents and children closer together, creating unforgettable family moments. We look forward to organizing more mental wellness activities in collaboration with schools in the future, enabling more students, teachers, and parents to enjoy a mindful experience that strengthens bonds and leaves lasting memories!
